Recipe for Glazed Carrots

Glazed Carrots RecipeIngredients:

1 bunch carrots, peeled, sliced in 1/8 inch pieces on the bias

4 ounces unsalted butter

2-3 tbsp. Monte's Ham Original Glaze

Orange Juice to cover carrots

Salt and Pepper to taste

1 glazed-carrots1 Peel and slice carrots and put them into a saucepan. Cover with orange juice and bring to a boil over medium high heat. Cook carrots until they are "al dente" - about 10 minutes.
     
2 glazed-carrots2 Drain Orange Juice and reserve.
     
3 glazed-carrots3 Add butter and glaze to pan. Bring to a sizzle over medium high heat. Add a couple of tablespoons of the reserved juice to thin sauce to desired consistency.  Salt and Pepper to taste.  Serve immediately.
