Grown on small family farms, they’re grass-fed, pasteured not penned, then carefully cured and hickory smoked without nitrates or nitrites by Purdy and Sons in Chenango Co. New York. All Monte’s Hams bear the Pride of New York seal and we’re proudly part of New York State’s Farm to Table initiative.

Finally, when it comes to shipping, we’re as green as it gets                    

It’s really important to us that we’re as eco-friendly as our products are all natural! So we use Globe Guard shipping boxes that are made of 100% post consumer waste. These strong and sturdy containers assure your shipment arrives in perfect shape.  And the fill we use is bio-degradable, compostable and recyclable. Even our sealing tapes are earth-friendly.  And you won’t find a trace of Styrofoam and any other non-environmentally friendly materials. Our cooling packs and temperature control wraps keep our hams fresh.
